Indiana Construction Association (ICA) has Scholarship Funds available in two areas: the Building Division and the Highway, Heavy & Utility Division. These Scholarships were created to encourage interest and participation in Indiana construction and industry careers. Applications are currently being accepted from students interested in applying for a scholarship through the ICA Scholarship Funds. The Scholarships are administered through the Central Indiana Community Foundation (CICF).
Applications and guideline information are available from the Human Resources Department, the CICF Scholarship Student Information Line (317) 631-6542, ext. 279, ICA Office (317) 472-6777 or online at www.cicf.org/page26452.cfm.
Applications are due on or before March 5, 2010.

I understand just what your talking about, living these days seems all together then it was before . I mean our great grand parents didn’t concern themselves with this , modern technology helps change things for both the good and the bad. You know I have an old school point of view , however I remember back when people used to work hard . People were honest , people looked out for each other, and things weren’t as costly. I suppose prices are always going to increase , but you know I don’t know why why we can’t go back to the days when people just actually cared about each other and actually knew each others names. I guess that is in the past , but you know today is another day to be alive , I reckon we ott to just keep on keeping on.

I have heard of people grafting material across the chewed spot. The grafts were made with little limbs, not just bark. I don’t know how successful this is, but you could investigate it. The second choice is to cut the tree off where the bark is gone. If this is not below any previous grafts, the tree will grow back and produce the fruit you had before, but it will take several years. I have done this. You might just as well cut them down and plant new trees if there is too much damage. Fence all such trees in the future. I have 10 trees with chicken wire fencing around them.
