North Crawford County Head Start students and staff visited the Mulzer Crushed Stone, Inc. Temple Quarry back on November 20 to get a closer look at how our quarry works and to celebrate their semi-annual Guy’s Day. The preschool students are encouraged to invite a special guy in their lives, dad, grandpa, uncle, etc. to spend quality time doing an activity that both enjoy. Lucky for us, they wanted to visit our Temple Quarry! While visiting the quarry, students, staff and ‘guys’ were treated to an in-depth tour of the facility, an up-close visit of a large loader, made Pet Rocks and had lunch! Over 72 guests made up the visitors group. Special Thanks to employees Troy McCorkle and Beverly Dillard for hosting the group at Temple Quarry!
